Gah, I wish I'd had more time this summer. Time to draw and paint and improve. I heard this song on the radio the other day, not for the first time, and I completely know how this guy feels:
Music was my first love
And it will be my last
Music of the future
And music of the past
To live without my music
Would be impossible to do
In these times of troubles
My music pulls me through
(John Miles)
Then replace
music with
art and voila! Could be my own words. Lol.
Thanks to one big commission I still painted some 21 cards, which was awesome, but I'm working on my thesis mostly, which sucks. I have to finish it on time, so I can start my educational master this year. On more year of study (bleh) and then I'll be a teacher with as much guarantee of a job as you can currently get in the Netherlands, so that's good. I'm really looking forward to it and I hope I can rub off some of my enthusiasm for English (my main subject) and cultural and art history (my secondary subject) on my pupils, that would be awesome.
I hope I'll have time to draw and paint then, though, haha.
*cheers!*

Edward Cullen is pretty cool, but who needs him when you have EDWARD GOREY?!

Irony is the form of paradox. Paradox is what is good and great at the same time.
